GoodWe ESA Lynx Battery Storage
GoodWe is one of the battery systems we install at Flux. The ESA Lynx uses lithium iron phosphate (LFP) chemistry, which is thermally stable and has a long cycle life. Capacity is modular, starting at 5kWh and expandable without replacing the existing unit.
It suits most setups where you want to store solar, reduce evening grid draw, or have backup power for key circuits. Whether it's the right fit depends on what inverter you have and what you're trying to do. We'll check that before recommending it.
LFP Battery Chemistry
Lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) is a stable, long-cycle chemistry. It handles heat well and doesn't carry the thermal runaway risk of some other lithium types. Worth knowing about if you're comparing battery options.
Modular Capacity
Start at 5kWh and add modules later. You don't have to buy capacity you don't need on day one. The system is designed to expand without replacing what's already installed.
Backup Power
The ESA Lynx can switch to backup mode when the grid goes down and keep selected circuits running. Which circuits are backed up is worked out at the design stage, not after installation.
Works With Existing Solar
The ESA Lynx can be retrofitted onto an existing solar system in many cases. It depends on inverter compatibility. We check that before recommending it.
