Solar and Battery Installations in Coolum Beach

Coolum Beach and the suburbs around it are a mix of two very different types of housing. Peregian Springs is mostly newer estate homes, with modern switchboards, decent roof space and often a spot in the garage that suits a battery. The older beach houses at Coolum, Marcoola, Mudjimba and Yaroomba are a different job. Many have older boards, tighter roof layouts and more exposure to salt air. Mount Coolum and Pacific Paradise sit somewhere in between. We work across all of it.

Salt air is the thing to get right along this stretch. Homes near the beach at Marcoola, Mudjimba and Yaroomba get plenty of it. We look at where the battery and inverter can sit out of the worst of it, specify enclosures with the right IP rating, and use fixings that won't corrode. That's standard on our coastal installs, not an extra.

In Peregian Springs a lot of the homes already have solar, and the common question is whether a battery can be added to what's there. Often it can. Some inverters integrate with a battery without much fuss. Others need replacing, and sometimes it's worth replacing anyway if the existing system is undersized for how the house is used now. We'll look at your inverter, your panels and your usage and give you a straight answer. Not every job needs a full new system, and we won't sell you one if it doesn't.

Older homes near the beach often need switchboard work before a battery can go in. We check for that at the quote stage and price it in, so there's nothing added later. EV chargers are another common add-on, and it's easier to plan for one at the same time as the battery than to come back and do it separately.
